Fee Increase

Below is an UPDATED Plan Check Fee Schedule that reflects the 3% increase as of August 1, 2020.

All fees for plan check review will be required to be paid in full at the time the plans are submitted. Partial payments will no longer be accepted.

New Fee Schedules

At the May 19/2020 Borad of Directors meeting, East Fork Fire Prevention Division established a schedule for Development Review Fees, Required Operational Permits and Inspection Fees, and Miscellaneous Fees for Service in accordance with the requirements of NAC 477, the International Fire Code, and Title 20 of the Douglas County Code, effective June 1, 2020. The schedule of fees for each category are listed below.

High-Piled Combustible Storage Permit Application

The High-Piled Combustible Storage Permit Application is a 20 page fill-in form in PDF. Type the information into the form and print to submit the application.

Open Burn will begin on Saturday, October 23, 2021 and end on Sunday, December 19, 2021.

East Fork Fire Protection District will allow seasonal open burning within the District beginning October 23, 2021. The regulations will be available at the stations beginning Thursday October 21, 2021, but residents may not burn until the 23rd. It is important that those who choose to conduct seasonal open burning follow the instructions and regulations for the safety of the residents, the firefighters and our community.

Recreational and Ceremonial Burn Permits

A permit is required to conduct recreational or ceremonial burns. Below is the requirements for those permits. Permits are issued for a one-year period and must be renewed annually. Conctact the District Office at 782-9040 to apply for a permit and the completed form will be emailed to you.
