The Wildland Firefighter class will be given at the conclusion of this second round of introductory classes. Logistical firefighters from the
1st round of classes can make up any missed training during this series. You must successfully complete the entire introductory series to attend the wildland class.
Logistical Firefighter opportunities include driving and operating water tenders, support major incidents by managing equipment
needs and self-contained breathing apparatus bottle change out, and equally important, becoming a wildland firefighter.
Wildland fire is perhaps our district's biggest threat.
Our Support Volunteer would maintain stations and keep apparatus clean and response ready. We need volunteers who can spread
the word of all hazard prevention by teaching general fire safety classes and assess properties for defensible space, test and maintain our fire hydrants,
help with fundraising, and even work in the area of Emergency Management.

Logistical Firefighters will respond to incidents and serve on the front line at wildland fire incidents. They perform vital water
supply operations, support major incident by managing equipment needs and other resource requirements.
Support Volunteers don't have to respond to emergencies, yet they are responsible for helping to make sure our stations and equipment are always
ready. From training, public outreach and maintenance, Support Volunteers have many critical roles to fill. With minimal training, you can become an integral
part of our organization.
