The Ray May fire started on August 16, 2011 from a campfire that was not extinquished properly. When the fire was finally contained, 2,895 acres of land were burned. It destroyed 10 structures, including a guest house, an abandoned building and eight outbuildings. The following pictures were taken by East Fork crews during the fire and show the damage after it was over.
